Fitting Guidelines for Wear Ease Compression Garments

GARMENTS DESIGNED FOR DIFFERENT SHAPES AND NEEDS

  1.  Evaluate your needs
  • Where do you need compression?
  • Are you bilateral? Do you wear breast prostheses?
  • What is your body shape?
  1. Take your measurements in inches
  • Bust
  • Waist
  • Hips
  1. Compare your measurements to the closest fit per the size chart. If your measurements fall between sizes, always choose the smaller size.

Camisoles and Shirts – Measure your breast/chest, waist and hips. If you need torso compression but are disproportionate in measurements because you are bilateral and do not wear forms, consider one of our vests (950/951) or the Andrea shirt (960/962).

Bras – Take your measurement around the breast at the fullest point (nipple line) with a bra on, if wearing prosthesis/ses, include those in the measurement.  Refer to the appropriate size chart.

Capris and Shorts - Measure your waist and hips and compare to the closest fit per the size chart. Style 613 is best for the petite figure (under 5’ 4”) with a shorter rise. This capri is 6” shorter than style 611.  Style 614 is our fullest cut short for the more robust figure.

When fit properly, garments should feel comfortable and provide relief.
